On this International Women’s Day, we celebrate the women among Petros Network’s indigenous missionaries.
These daughters of God, emboldened by the Spirit, are fierce and effective warriors to advance the Kingdom of God among the unreached. They are taking the Gospel to every nook and cranny on the planet, “to the ends of the earth,” as Jesus commanded.
These Women Are A Prophecy Fulfilled
In the Old Testament, the prophet Joel predicted a day at the end of the age when God would pour out His Spirit on His people. In Acts 2, that day arrived when the Holy Spirit came upon the believers in the first church, and they were baptized with the Spirit and with fire. At that time, Peter quoted Joel’s prophecy as being fulfilled:
“In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people; your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”
(Acts 2:17)
And, we are seeing this happen today in our indigenous church planters. What Joel prophesied is coming true before our eyes.
Like Mirriam, we believe, “The call is for everyone.“
On this #internationalwomensday, join us in celebrating the boldness and anointing found in our women missionaries. We believe they will set this world ablaze with the power and authority of the Holy Spirit.
Our prayer is that Mirriam’s story would encourage you! God is at work, friends! And He is using you to reach the unreached with the Good News of His Son.
