On our recent trip to Africa we experienced first-hand how impactful sponsorship is not only to the child but the entire community. School fees are a burden on many families who have no extra. Meals at school are often the only food they eat for that day. With no education many girls are left very vulnerable to situations like child marriage and limited access for economic independence.
We saw very young teenagers with babies, boys loitering during school hours doing manual labor and their childhoods being lost. A stable place of education, food, and spiritual community is readily available with our child sponsorship program.
