Across the communities where Petros Network serves, healthy churches are taking root. Men, women, and children are hearing the Gospel. Many are hearing it for the very first time. Lives are being transformed through Christ, and local churches are becoming Community Hubs of Hope.

You’ll also see how healthy local churches become the foundation for lasting Gospel impact. As disciples are made and churches are established, the Gospel continues to spread, families are strengthened, and communities begin to flourish. We call this Redemptive Lift®.

Stories Behind the Numbers

One of the stories you’ll encounter is Bariti, a 24-year-old church planter and mother of four serving among the Arbore people of southern Ethiopia, where only 1.62% know Jesus.

When she first arrived, many people in her community had never heard the Gospel. She stayed when it would have been easier to leave. She shared the Gospel one conversation at a time, and over the years, discipled the people who believed. Then a respected village elder who had been bedridden for months, and had sought help everywhere he knew, was healed after Bariti and her church prayed for him. That was the moment the village could not ignore. Today, there is a healthy church where there once was none.

Her story is one of many.

Throughout the report you’ll meet faithful men and women who continue to say yes to God’s call, trusting Him to do what only He can do.
