Petros Network Mission in Action

Partner with us in Redemptive Lift Efforts

Petros Network has a holistic approach to the expansion of the Gospel in Africa. Petros Network – Development focuses on creating Redemptive Lift by collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to fund and assist in relief and development. This includes Education, Clean Water, Women At Risk, Vulnerable Children, Healthcare and Medical Relief, and Sustainable Agriculture and Food Distribution.

Petros Network’s foundational missional conviction is to plant churches that become change agents in all aspects of the life of a community.  Throughout Jesus’ ministry He spread the good news of God’s kingdom among the hurting, the weak, and the poor, at the same time often meeting the needs of the people surrounding Him. (Matthew 25:40)

Petros Network church planters are sent to remote, unreached and underdeveloped villages. These isolated communities are often without roads, electricity, telephone communications, or commercial economy.  Access to safe water is scarce too. We are literally going to the ends of the earth and by planting a church, planting life by extending the gospel in practical and relevant ways!

Every Gift Makes A Difference!

By investing in Redemptive Lift efforts you can help alleviate poverty, create sustainable solutions and empower lives without creating dependency.

Petros Network: Microfinance

Interventions for widows and the most vulnerable through Micro-Grants.

Program Details >>  |  Sponsor a Widow >>

We work with our church planters to select widows and the most vulnerable families of their congregations. We offer small micro-grant opportunities (approximately $600 to $1200 depending on the widow’s business opportunity), prayer, training, and support in an effort to alleviate poverty and enhance sustainable living. For only $5100 we can also build homes for widows and vulnerable families—includes a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a family area. This home would be considered “nice” by Ethiopian standards.

Orphan & Abandoned Children

Orphan Advocacy and Child Sponsorship

For $30 a month, just $1 a day, you can help provide children in need with access to life-saving basics such as:  nutritious food, healthcare, education and clothing.

Church Planters identify orphans and needy children and work with qualified social workers to extend care and support.  The orphans and abandoned children in Redemptive Life Ministries live in remote, unreached villages and are far from societal support or interventions of any kind.  Typically these children suffer greatly and often die very early. Talk to us about joining one of our outreach trips to visit your orphan or family.

Petros Network: Food for the Hungry

Food Distribution: Feed the Hungry

Just $30 USD buys 88.2 lbs.(40kgs) of wheat, 1 chicken and 8 medium bananas (2.5 kgs); enough food for a family for one week.  Undernourishment negatively affects people’s health, productivity, sense of hope and overall well-being. A lack of food can stunt growth, slow thinking, sap energy, hinder fetal development and contribute to mental retardation.1 Through our Feed The Hungry program you can help to provide immediate relief.

Medical Relief, Health and Hygiene

We are always looking for medical personnel and new partners to support medical relief measures.  Are you a doctor, nurse, dentist, optometrist and want to use your gifts and skills to give back in a powerful way?  We would like to invite you to join us on one of our trips in April or November.

Petros Network: Safe Drinking Water

Safe Drinking Water

We work very closely with our partner, Water for the World, to innovate with safe drinking water opportunities.  If this is an area of interest, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!  We are currently working on a water project to expand the reservoir system in Gojo, Ethiopia. This system services over 60,000 people Safe drinking water is a critical need in the villages we reach.

Education for children. Also English as a second language

Education for children can be expressed in several forms.  There is faith-based learning that includes Children’s crusades, Vacation Bible School, and special events.  There are also elementary education opportunities.  Most of the Gojo (Gojjo) churches have church schools that are very interested in school teachers giving their time to help teach English and reading.
