Petros Network Mission in Action

Partner with us in Redemptive Lift Efforts

Petros Network – Development focuses on creating Redemptive Lift by collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations to fund and assist in relief and development. This includes Education, Water, Women At Risk, Vulnerable Children, Healthcare, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Distribution.

Petros Network’s foundational missional conviction is to plant churches and build leaders that become change agents in all aspects of the life of a community. Petros Network church planters are sent into some of the most remote corners of the world. These isolated communities are often without roads, electricity, telephone communications, commercial economy, medical care, and even access to safe water. By investing in Redemptive Lift efforts you help demonstrate a holistic approach to the Gospel, alleviate poverty, create sustainable solutions and empower lives without creating dependency. Every gift makes a difference and literally saves a life!

Tesfa Project

The TESFA Project: Hope for Widows and At-Risk Women

Widowed mothers are often the most vulnerable families in a community without much hope of ever alleviating their poverty and caring for their families.  Through the TESFA Project (TESFA means Hope in Amharic) you can give tangible hope by sponsoring a widow’s family with a micro-grant (or meaningful work), education, life skills training, medical and dental care, along with business training and support.

Vulnerable Children

For just $30 a month you can help orphans and abandoned children from remote, severely underdeveloped villages that are far from societal support or interventions of any kind.  Typically these children suffer greatly and often die very early.  Your monthly support offers food, clothing, education and medical care. A little goes a long way.

Sustainable Agriculture and Food Distribution

Undernourishment negatively affects people’s health, productivity, sense of hope and overall well-being. Our feeding programs provide immediate relief, but sustainable farming of potatoes, vegetables, along with livestock management can provide villagers with food and a way of life that is passed down to generations.

Healthcare and Medical Relief

We are always looking for healthcare professionals who want to use their gifts and skills to give back in a powerful way.  Medical and Dental clinics offer care for the poor and training to indigenous professionals.  We are grateful for your time, talents, and treasure to give the gift of life.

Clean Water and Sanitation

Every 15 seconds a child dies from a water related disease. Safe drinking water is a critical need throughout all of the villages of Ethiopia, Uganda and South Sudan. Clean water programs are unique to each country and village and can include traditional wells, water filtration systems, cistern management, and reservoirs with pump systems.

Education for Children and English as a Second Language

Education for children can be expressed in several forms: faith-based learning that includes Children’s crusades, Vacation Bible School, and special events, along with academic opportunities in local schools.
