Sports is more than a recreational activity they are effective tools in making change. Research shows competitive sports can provide a powerful way of helping young people challenge limiting presumptions and learn to view themselves, and their potential, in a new way. In the areas we serve children and youth must work hard for their very survival. We have found they are also willing to play hard if given the tools and instruction.
Petros Network is always looking for partners to help advance sports and athletics, in particular soccer and long distance running, as a means of social change for children and youth. We value inclusivity, education, athleticism, character and life skill development, and fun.
